History.
VETSA or Veterinary Student Association is the veterinary association established by veterinary students of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) on 15th October 2009. When VETSA first established it consists of 39 former members which make up the pioneer batch of the newly established Veterinary Faculty in UMK.The main objective of VETSA establishment is inline with the UMK objectives that encourage the student to actively involved in clubs and associations. This association also play a role to represent a Vet student to communicate with higher authority.
Objective
- To fulfill the Vision, Mission and Objectives of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.
- To introduce and promote Universiti Malaysia Kelantan and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Malaysia.
- To contribute and create awareness about animal health care towards the society.
- To strengthen students, lecturers and staffs relationship through the activities organized by Vetsa.
- To create a role model and improve soft skills of the veterinary students.
- To shapen and train leadership skills in handling an organization.
- To implement leadership skills in veterinary students as "Entrpreneurship is our thrust" is the motto of Universiti malaysia Kelantan
